I purchased this item for and old claw tub, it will not hold tight because the wall of the tub is too thin.Customer Review: Unfortunately, it doesn't work

This product attaches to the bathtub at one single point. It can pivot on this point easily. You cannot screw it down firmly enough so that it will not move back and forth when force is applied.
It took me two months, five e-mails, going to the post office to mail this, and $23 postage back and forth to get the refund.
That said, the company made the refund without any hassel at all. I would not hesitate to buy from them again if they were selling another product.
