These are a cute, kid friendly option but just don't get cold enough to really serve the purpose of an ice pack needed in case of an emergency. There is a very small & thin cooling pad (maybe 1"x1" if that) on the back side of the bear/frog face that doesn't get cold enough for us. Might be nice option if you need mild cooling, but for real jobs/injuries do not recommend.
