The air filters work great, but they are very expensive compared to the 3M filters that are available at many retailers. We cannot find these filters locally so we have to order through Amazon. I've also heard that if the filters are too large they can choke your furnace and reduce its life span. After we finish these I plan to install a smaller filter case. ButCustomer Review: Good Filter, but not as SHOWN.

These are quality filters, yes. However, they are meant to go into your original "shell".
The photo of the product seems to indicate a complete setup, ready to slide in. This is simply not the case.
If you truly just need the FILTER portion, then these would be GREAT.
