I agree with Rallyjon. Too dull!!! Very frustrating to try to scratch my back and it just teases my skin and makes it worse! It's like trying to scratch an itch with the soft tip of your finger instead of your fingernail! I run for a hair brush which does the job a whole lot better and satisfies the itch. Although, the handle on a hair brush isn't as long. Since I've got these bamboo back scratchers now, I'll have to go to a hardware store and get me some sand paper and file those teeth more narrow so they scratch better and do the job they're supposed to do! I had a friend visit who was going nuts needing to scratch her back, so I handed her one of these bamboo scratchers, and within 20 seconds she was begging me for a fork! Doesn't work well at all.
