I was looking for another brand of shaving soap that was natural that used to get, when I found out it was discontinued, and the prices way to high for soap, I decided to look else where. The only one thing I really wanted from a shaving soap is that "Bay Rum" smell. I came across Col. Conk's. The price is right, the ingredients are great, it has the right smell(you can even this soap offered in other scents). I purchased it. At first it reminded me a lot of the "soap on a rope" that my older brother got every x-mas just by the size and shape, but that was it. Shave time! It lathers great and feels great on my face, rinses off clean and smells wonderful(not strong at all)! I really love this shaving soap! I really recommend a badger brush, but boar bristle will work in a pinch, to get the most from this soap. The first time I bought one bar, now I buy the 3 packs and share them.
