As far as electric razors (or battery operated in this case) go, this little item is a gem. It is easy to use both wet and dry, so small it fits into my NYC apartment medicine cabinet and efficiently and painlessly removes unwanted hair from anywhere on my body. An electric shave never lasts as long as the ubiquitous razor blade method. However, since I have never dared to trim myself with a blade, this compact razor is the best I've used.
