It's an alright machine, but the thing is if you're down for very very detail work this isn't the machine you're looking for. This machine is meant for amateur work meaning just lining and a bit of shading (it shades well, better then i thought it would shade). I am still fiddling with the settings of the power supply, but the default voltage is 8.5, but i have to fiddle with the settings sometimes.Customer Review: not so

I had read the reviews for this item and they built up an expectation that was not met. The guns themselves work and would be considered a good buy if they weren't damaged. The one had pits and scratches in it, and on three of the four guns the contact screws were bent at a 90 degree angle and are useless. Pretty disappointed with that.. also the instructional DVD is worthless because it is overlaid with music so I was unable to hear what the artist is saying... really ??? The power supply and foot petal are fair for the kit if the rest of it wasn't damaged or what looks like 2nd-ed equipment. I like guns but I regret the purchase due to quality and damage, even for $100 bucks I don't think better quality is to much to ask.
I would recommend for an artist or aspiring artist to spend a little more and get a better kit, it wouldn't be a bad idea to purchase everything individually and get the items you need that way.
