I got these about a year ago - just before I had a sudden bout with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) in my right wrist/hand/arm. I've never experienced CTS before and it happened after a sudden and pronounced increase in the amount of typing I was doing at work.
Needless to say, once I got the swelling and pain to decrease through physical therapy and other measures I started to use these on a daily basis before going to work and afterwards. I started with less a minute per hand so as not to stress the muscles too much. But now it is nothing for me to get in a rythm and go for 20 minutes per hand. I also roll them when I' go on long car trips in both hands. I believe strongly these have kept me from returning to CTS again as my typing has steadily increased again over the past few months but without any problems.
I know my hands are stronger grip wise, and my forearms are definitely increased in size over the past year - but that is also due to other exercises I now do.
I cannot say for certain these will cure anything. But for me I believe they keep me from returning to the days of CTS - for which I never wish to return.
