I bought my Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp at our local Krogers (grocery store)over a year ago, so I had the advantage of looking at each one they had before choosing mine.
Nothing was broken and the bulb fit.
I don't know about any healing properties, but I love how it looks and it is on 24/7 in a corner of an entry hall.
It does make a great night light.
I've replaced the bulb only once so far.

THE LAMP IS BEAUTIFUL BUT THE BULB THAT WAS SENT WITH IT WAS ABOUT ONE-HALF INCHES TOO LONG. I HAD TO GO OUT AND BUY A SMALLER BULB. SEEMS LIKE POOR QUALITY CONTROL.Customer Review: Poor Quality Control

The lamp arrived with the bulb smashed inside so I had to shake all the broken pieces out of the packing. The cord was also broken with the switch in 4 loose pieces. They had wrapped the cord in bubble wrap so I'm thinking it went out broken. Bad Karma for the store sending out broken Feng Shui lamps :-)
I have to go and buy a new cord and bulb before I can enjoy the lamp.

I placed an order for two salt crystal lamps that I was so excited to receive. I received them and I was very
disappointed. I thought they were gorgeous in
the pictures on Amazon's website but mine were chipped in multiple places and looked like they had been rolled around on pavement. When I opened the package, there
was only ONE electrical cord that had a light bulb fixture on one end included for both of the lamps. There was also only ONE light bulb included for both lamps. The bulb that was sent was too big for either lamp and did not fit and the cord does not fit securely in the base (so that even if the bulb properly fit, the cord and light bulb would come out of the lamp everytime you pick up the lamp to move it--can we say fire hazard!). I expected a lamp--not a do-it-yourself project.
I contacted the seller and he sent me back an email that was so rude that I and all of my friends were shocked that he was in business. He refused to pay for shipping costs to return it--which the cost to ship it to me was $10 (even though it cost him only $7.70 to ship). So, I am either stuck with a product that doesn't have the proper parts (although he did finally offer to send the missing parts to me after being rude) or pay almost $20 for a product that I now can not use. Buyer beware!!!

This item came in a unpresentable state. I wouldn't display it anywhere in my home due to its dirty and dingy color and quality. The power cord it came with was smashed to pieces and unusable. I've seen similar lamps from other sellers in much better condition. Check out another source if you want a quality salt lamp. VERY disappointing
