I received two of these small tubes at my baby shower and kept them in our diaper bag for outings. Soon after I started to leave the house with my baby girl she developed a slight diaper rash that seemed to persist. I assumed that the Balmex we were using wasn't strong enough or that I needed to increase diaper changes. However, on a long day out with repeated A&D applications I discovered that my poor baby girl was reacting to the A&D that I had been using once every two days or so. I'm not sure what is in this ointment that she was allergic to... but she does great (no rashes) with Balmex or Desitin.
