The vibrations of this tuning fork are too quiet to perform the Weber and Rinne tests. Neither my husband nor I could hear anything via bone conduction, making it impossible to conduct these tests. This tuning fork is chintzy and hardly makes a noise no matter how hard you hit it, and is impossible to use for effective medical testing because there are no vibrations to be felt through the skull. A complete waste of money.Customer Review: Save your money...

This tuning fork is crap. If you're concerned about being able to do a proper Weber or Rinne test, buy one with weights on the end, or really, any tuning fork that isn't this one.
