Easy to use, and fun. My 2YO daughter cannot get her temperature taken enough. She giggles when she hears the beep. I am glad I actually splurged the $10 and got the model with the light. The Safety 1st disposable plastic covers are impossible to find, but the generic CVS or Walgreen's ones (box of 40 covers is $5.99) work perfectly with this model.
Description of Accu-Light One-Second Ear Themometer
The light that illuminates the ear canal is a major highlight of the Accu-Light One-Second Ear Thermometer. It helps a parent properly position the probe tip in the ear for a more accurate reading.It provides an accurate reading in only one second. An illuminated halo helps position the probe into the ear canal to help take a more accurate reading. Includes an illuminated LCD screen for easy nighttime reading. The Accu-Light flashes, and the unit beeps when your reading is complete. Audible indicator has mute a button. It also features an automatic shutoff after one minute to help conserve battery. Use the Memory mode so you can view the previous temperature reading. Ten probe covers included. Celsius and Fahrenheit modes. Requires 2 "AAA" batteries (included)
