***UPDATE*** A few days after getting this kit my wife lost a filling over the weekend and had to use the temporary filling putty from this kit. I am pleased to report that it worked perfectly and allowed her to enjoy two pain free days!

This "Dental Medic Kit" is a good addition to the standard first-aid kit we keep in our house. We live in rural area and often get snowed in, so I worry about having to treat ourselves until proper medical attention can be provided. This kit has the basics for easing toothaches and repairing a damaged\lost filling, which is exactly what I wanted.

Important I think to have a dental as well as a medical kit around the house and certainly while traveling.
This is a solid basic dental kit. However, like me you may want to add some items to the kit like a mask, nitrate gloves, dental mirror and maybe a hemostat.
If you want to go beyond this basic kit check out Chinook Medical, whom I highly recommend, on the web as they offer some good alternatives at slightly more cost.

Save your money. Get a water tight baggy put some cotton balls in it and some oral gel along with your normal oral hygiene kit and pow you have got it but better. I was expecting more and better quality. I do not recommend this for any emergency medical kit.
