There is nothing more difficult than trying to remove a tick from a long-coated animal such as an Alaskan Malamute. After trying several other products, some with very unsatisfactory results, I have found the Tick Nipper to be the best tick remover of all. The Tick Nipper jaws slide under the tick without squeezing it (causing it to secrete saliva and disease-carrying bacteria into the animal). It's light color makes the tick easy to see in the jaws, and the thin gap in the jaws doesn't allow the tick to slip through as you slowly pluck it out.
