Easy to use. Works as described. I bought it as a lark - just to see exactly how "drunk" I was. It's been fun at parties & drinking w/friends. However, having a measuring stick for alcohol has really slowed down my consumption - which no doubt is a good thing. I'd compare this benefit to counting calories. When counting calories, one tends to eat less & eat healthier. This breathylizer has the same effect. I'd love to find a breath tester for calories! By the way, one of this products greatest advantages is that it is SLIM & you can easily slip it into a pocket, or purse, and carry it with you anywhere. You don't have to leave it in your car! (keeping in mind that most of us with a blood alcohol level over .08 would find it difficult to go back into the party & call for a cab, after we've already ventured out & warmed-up the car. THIS IS A TOOL THAT YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO CARRY WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES).Customer Review: A good "friend" to have in your car.

If you enjoy going out and socializing this is a necessity! It is amazing to see how many people think they're fine to drive home after a couple of drinks and then register a number above what is allowed.If you get pulled over- your life will change considerably!! The other night ,at friends, I had 1 drink before dinner and a glass and a half of wine with dinner...and, before leaving, I checked and found that I was a .09 (NH is .08) I had to wait for another 1/2 hr before I felt safe to drive home. I bought one for every family member and our friends have followed suit. Annoyingly- you guys have gone up 10 bucks in the past month because you WERE a great price but, at any rate, this is a good, reliable product.Customer Review: Alcohawk BAC tester

This BAC tester is an excellent investment to avoid DUI arrests. It's easy to use, comparatively small, yields fast, easy to read, digital readings to two decimal places. The wider range in BAC levels allows you not to just determine if you at or over the legal limit, but allows you to monitor your BAC levels over time. By doing this you can get a better idea of how fast you process alcohol in the bloodstream, as well as get a more precise handle in terms of physical feeling, walking or speech at various BAC levels. For its nominal cost, it is something everyone that drinks socially should have in their vehicle and use before they decide to drive.Customer Review: 100 bucks or six grand?

I found myself with a new job and a new car out of college. The bars and parties were far away (I still live in the same city I went to school in) and I found myself driving when I felt fine, but wasn't sure whether I'd blow over the limit. I bought this thing and put it in my car. I blow in it every time I even consider driving.
The product itself has worked well for me so far. It's easy to use and takes around 30 seconds to warm up. I can't really tell how accurate it is, but it keeps me out of the car when I'm over the limit and that's all I care about.

Since it's only been a month since I received my Alcohawk Slim, I can't vouch for its longivity. However it has performed as advertised when used about a dozen times by myself, family and friends. I like the compact size and the retracting mouthpiece. Also it is available at a great low price. As for its accuracy, I have no way to calibrate it and therefore don't know if it is giving correct readings although they seem to be reasonably in the ballpark. Based on my experience so far I can recommend the Alcohawk Slim.
