As a GP lens wearer of 18 years, I will never use any other GP contact solution again. This is by far the best solution I have used with my new GP lens that feature a comfort coating. Previously used Boston products, but they are too abrasive for use with the new comfort coating on the GP lens. Alcon IS NO LONGER discontinuing the Unique pH formula! It is offered online for purchase and now is ALSO BACK IN RETAIL STORES... they have rebranded the item with the EXACT formula as Opti-free GP. It is identical! The Alcon main website has outdated information, but call the customer service line for more information. I was told that they will not try and discontinue it again, after the overwhelming feedback that lead to the product being revived. They relaunched the formula in the new packaging over the summer (2010). THANK GOODNESS!!! Thank you Alcon.

Actions: Cleans - Unique-pH Multi-Purpose Solution removes dirt, protein deposits and debris from your contact lenses. No separate daily cleaner is required. Conditions - This solution adjusts to your eye's natural tear pH to enhance the wettability and comfort of rigid gas permeable contact lenses upon insertion. This formula is designed to provide a soothing effect during lens wear. Disinfects - Contains antimicrobial agents which destroy harmful microorganisms (germs) commonly found on the surfaces of lenses.
