Customer Review: Clean air is worth the price

The Alen A350 air purifier is very well constructed and the price is competitive. I use it on speed two at night. It is not silent but does make some noise that I don't mind hearing. With the ionizer on the air seems to really feel different. We still have some dust in the bedroom but much less than we had before we purchased the machine. It is very difficult to keep the bedroom door shut which is most likely the culprit for dust entering the room. I have allergies and the night is the worse time for symptoms. They seem to be less when the machine has been running all day. I am considering buying another to place in my office downstairs.Customer Review: clean air

I've had the Alen 350 for one week. I move it from the bedroom to the home office so it runs all day. In the office and bedroom on 2 and the rest of the time on 4 to really clean the air. Bought mine through Alen directly and had problems with the first one sent. It's fan was damaged in factory before ship. Simple form on their website to return. UPS showed up 2 days later and picked it up. Two days after that the new unit was delivered. No hassle and the new one is really quiet on 1 and 2. Hoping this helps solve my allergy problems. I use this unit in a school classroom, and it has been quite effective during a recent period of construction which put chemicals and particulates into the air. After construction, I feel it has provided a noticeable improvement in the air. It ran almost continuously for 18 months, and recently the fan started to make a noise like it was unbalanced. The room with this product in it gets cleaned periodically, and we noticed a significant reduction in the amount of dust on the furniture, so I would say this filter is working well. Online sites rate this Air Purifier as removing over 95% of air borne particles in a controlled situation, making it comparable to $600+ models, and far superior to the products you see on those info-mercials.
I would say this product is great, but you should do your own research.
