Description of AliMed Stroke Cushion - With T-Foam Layer for Added Cushioning - 16 inch X 18 inch - 1 ea

Specially designed for stroke patients, this cushion modifies the standard sling-style wheelchair seat with the Solid Seat Insert, rendering a flat surface that supports the entire body and minimizes risk of pressure sores. The generous gel insert at the sacral area relieves any abrupt pressure transition, mitigating window edema. The front edge is softly curved reduces pressure at the thigh edge. A laminated neoprene cover adds even more cushioning and shear relief. Bottom side of cover is waterproof, bacteriostatic and laminated to minimize slipping.
