Customer Review: It works, but be very careful when & where you take it!

The item itself is FDA approved, so that gives me peace of mind. After using it a few weeks, it does really work like the advertisement says.
Now, here are some problems I encountered.
1. I know it will knock out 25% or more of the fat I intake, so that kinda gives me a leadway to eating more dessert cause I know Alli can take out 25% of the fat.
2. DO NOT take this on a trip or where you don't have easy access to a bathroom. It takes almost 1 full day before the pill's effects are 100% gone. It almost got me in heaps of trouble in a Vegas buffet after eating 7 creme burles...
If you really can control your eating habits and not let this pill be a motivation to eat even more than before, then go for it. This will certainly help you lose weight. Just keep in mind this is not a magic pill that will lower your weight. You have to keep a strict diet and exercise, like the manual says, Alli will help you lose more weight than dieting alone. Without a proper diet, the only thing Alli does is make you use the bathroom countless times. As for me, I'll need more motivation than the fear of soiling my pants to stop me from gobbling down desserts!!

This is very simple. I packed on an extra ten pounds when I quit smoking. I have been on the drug for two weeks - maintaining a diet of less than 15 grams of fat within every three hour span. I DO NOT go over ever, if you cannot find out or know the fat content or portion - you simply cannot eat it. The bad press just shows how much ignorance is out there and how people cannot control what they put in their mouth i.e. the obesity epidemic. I have lost 4lb and intend to lose 6lb more at which point I will stop the diet. I would recomend this to anyone that is looking to lose wieght - but only if they had the ability to control themselves. You will not S*** your pants - if you simply follow the rules. Personally, I find it was the most wonderful diet ever. Because, there are serious consequences to cheating; I don't need to learn the lesson - I am able to control myself and if you are the same, this drug helps you lose wieght at almost 200% as fast as dieting alone.

I am over 55 and have a healthy lifestyle that includes excersize and lots of salads, but not been able to get under 250 for 8 years. I have been using alli for 9 weeks and lost 13 pounds, and I went on vacation for 2 weeks. I have eaten out at restaurants and overendulged a little, but never gone crazy. I have not had any discomfort or embarassing effects, a little gas and one surprise spotting when I thought I had just passed gas.
This product is not for everybody and not for people who only need to lose 5 pounds or for people who cannot limit their fat intake to a reasonable level.
I have always been heavy and this is the first time in 15 years I have been under 250. I have not changed my diet significantly (maybe just being more careful sometimes) and lost weight. This is the kind of plan I can stick with. Because you can have(and need to have for the product to work) some fat, it is much more satisfying than other diets.

I have been taking Alli for 3 1/2 months. I have lost 33 pounds. By no means is Alli a "miracle" pill. I have cut back my fat consumption a lot.
When I first started with Alli, I was like the others - very nervous about the treatment effects. I was so worried about passing gas and messing myself instead. However, I have found that is not the case. I was very careful for awhile until I realized I had not had a bowel movement in a few days. Then I ate a little more fat. I will sometimes find the oily stool people talk about but I have never had it on my panties or anywhere else. Like I said though, I have cut a lot of fat out of my diet. If I plan on eating a fatty dinner I just don't take Alli. Diet is not about starving or torturing yourself, it is about knowing when to say when. I have gotten so sick of people saying this product is awful but they haven't even tried it.
It has worked for me and I sure hope it works for you.

have been gaining weight for 3 years now due to hypothyroidism and pcod. I have gained around 80 lbs and have been working very hard to get it off through diet and exercise. No matter what i did i could never get more than 20 lbs off, and it just kept coming back. I finally talked to my doctor about my options and she suggested i give alli a try. I have been taking it for 3 weeks now and have lost 10.3 lbs thus far. I have not experienced any harsh side effects until this past few days. I went on a road trip and made very poor food choices. I firmly believe that if you fallow the reccomendations this will work. I have started to eat more salads and have found ways to still eat everything i love in a way that still works with this diet. healthy choice meals have become my new best friend. they are suprisingly yummy (i was very sceptical) but i love my alli!!! my experience so far has been a good one! I really hope that it continues to be helpful in my journey!
