I was looking for a cheaper alternative to the aloe vera shave gel I currently use ($20/8 oz, $12/3.4 oz). I decided to give this one a try. When the gel arrived, I was surprised to find that aloe vera was the 5th ingredient listed. That means that this "aloe vera shave gel" couldn't contain any more than 20% aloe vera. The gel lathers up like soap and left my face dry and tight after shaving. I would not recommend it at all.
