This fits the easy chair perfectly and as the chair is also brown it is hardly noticeable. I do have to reposition it as it gets pushed back into the chair; but it is heavy enough so it still covers 3/4th of the surface after 3 days of use. No spills yet so I can't speak to the waterproofing aspects. Another light cushion is used on top of it so it's texture helps hold the top cushion in place. I am thinking about getting another one.
