Customer Review: Andis Ultra Edge Super 2 Speed Clipper

This is the first clipper I've ever purchased. I didn't want to fool around and get a cheap one, so I just cut to the reviews and paid the price hoping for a first time succuss. These clippers are great! I have a poodle mix and a mini schnauzer that I pay nearly $70 for the 2 of them to be groomed...so these paid for themselves in less than 2 groomings! they cut great and are quieter then I expected the dogs didn't seem to mind them at all, but they are already trained from going to the groomer their whole lives! The poodle was pretty matted, she lives a dogs life of getting dirty and wet outside so I scissor cut her quite a bit first and her feet were tricky. I ended up taking her to her groomer once more to get a good baseline, and then we were back on track. The clippers do get hot after awhile, but it takes me a long time and I figure if they are getting hot I've been at it too long... the dogs are probably ready for a break anyway! Great clippers, good price from Amazon and would reccomend them to anyone.

The Andis UltraEdge AGC 2-Speed Clipper runs at up to 4,400 strokes per minute due to it?s heavy duty, high speed motor. The unit is equipped with a 4 x 4 blade drive for 25% more blade torque. The AGC 2-Speed Clipper is the ultimate grooming tool with it?s power, control, and versatility. The unit features a 14? cord. The unit also features a locking switch button so the unit cannot accidently turn off will being used. The clipper is maintenance free, with no oiling or greasing of internal parts required. The break resistant housing can resist harsh chemicals and day to day use. The clipper comes equipped with an UltraEdge #10 blade and works will all Andis UltraEdge and CeramicEdge blades. The blades are also compatible with most detachable-type clippers and the Oster Model A-5. Designed and engineered in the United States, Andis also offers a complete line of quality clippers and trimmers for consumers and animal grooming as well as a full line of wall mounted hair dryers for the hotel industry. Andis warrants its products to the original purchaser against defective material or workmanship for one years from the date of purchase. All implied warranties are also limited to one year.
