I bought this clipper to clip my goldendoodle and found out afterward that the #10 blade is only for shaving around the eyes and paws and not for the entire body. I tried to clip her body but the blade stopped cutting all together. It does not change blades so you are stuck with only a #10 blade. I would buy one where you can change the blades otherwise you are spending money on a clipper that just trims around the face and paws.Customer Review: Buy something else

I bought these clippers and used them on my parent miniature schnauzer. They worked great at first, but I turned them off for a minut and then they would cut anymore. Seemed almost as though the blades went dull on the first time using it. Buy clippers that are another brand.Customer Review: Andis clipper

Had to send this back. Would not even touch the hair on my Jack Russell and he is a rough coat of very fine hair. Not anything that I could use for anything and I have been clipping my own dogs for 40 years now. I will stick to Oster products.
