Customer Review: Only nail product I've ever used where I saw a difference

When I first started taking Appearex I was 18. I had tried many nail polishes and treatments that supposedly grew out and strengthened weak nails. None of them ever worked, a few Sally Hansen products strengthened and hardened them but they still broke. After trying acrylic nails my nails were horribly weak , ripped up all over the surface and peeling. Not enough people know that it takes 4 months for a nail to replace itself and I was tired of hiding my hands so I got appearex when I found out you no longer needed a perscription to buy it. I could see a difference the first week. All 10 fingernails were long, strong, clear and not peeling or breaking painfully low at the same time! I may have had 2 or 3 healthy nails at once but never all and the nails themselves were clear, no white spots. After I stopped taking it my nails returned to normal of course and now that I'm taking it again it's taking a little longer to see those results. The box says it takes 3 to 6 months, I got results sooner than that the first time. So my advice is to stop paying money for unhealthy acrylics and start taking appearex and don't stop(it doesn't interact w/other medicines you may be taking either).Customer Review: Good price, good results

My nails have always been ridged, weak and brittle. They practically melt in water (and I swim daily). I noticed an improvement to my cuticles and nails within weeks. Three months later, they look great. The hangnails and chewed look is gone. I keep my nails short by choice, but they are much stronger and look professional and neat. I'm very pleased with this product.
The $17.27 for a 3 month supply is the best price I found for 2.5 mg (2500 mcg). I noticed a `buy one get one free' sale this past week at Walgreen's, but the starting price for the Appearex was $25 for a one month supply. Not good. Other biotin products I've seen are not the 2.5 mg daily requirement for nail improvement (mostly $5-$10 for 500 or 1000) mcg, so once you multiply to get the daily requirement, they cost much more as well.
There's a bonus to the biotin. In addition to the nail-skin-hair improvements, it also seems to boost metabolism. I've been more energetic and sleeping more soundly at night. ~$6 a month is a good deal and this is a reliable and conveniently packaged product. I'll be buying a year's supply next time.

I started taking this product on the recommendation of my dermatologist. I went to her to talk about my continued hair loss. After my blood test results came back, I learned that I had very low blood stores (not anemia) and your body will typically shed whatever depletes your iron if it doesn't need it to survive. She put me on an iron supplement; (Multigen Plus (prescription only) and suggested I also take 2 Appearex. I've been taking 2 Multigen Plus and 2 Appearex biotin tablets everyday since August 2010, and I can't believe the new hair growth I've had. It's incredible. I am truly amazed. The new growth is about 2 inches long now and it's all over my head. I was able to see quite a bit of bare scalp before, and now, I have pretty great coverage all over! Who knew... Iron and Biotin!
This has also done wonders for my nails. I had really thin nails before that would just split all the time. My nails grow so long now, and I need to add quite a bit of pressure when using a nail clipper to cut my nails down. I highly recommend this product to anyone with thinning hair and weak nails. It's amazing.

When I began to feel the tremendous stresses of work, I noticed that my hair was coming out in clumps. In fact, I had to just shave down a portion of the back of my hair because it was coming out so bad. I was going to make an appointment with my doctor until I went on the internet and searched for hair vitamins or something that would help me. I came across Biotin and read the reviews. I am not one to believe everything that I read or hear but review after review had nothing but good things about this B vitamin. I went and found it at my local store and starting taking it immediately. I have been taking it for almost 2 months now and it took a minute before I saw any results but now my hair is growing so quickly and it is thick. I have not noticed the clumps of hair coming out anymore but there are a few strands. My skin is smooth and my fingernails are strong and looking great as well. This vitamin is doing so well that I have encouraged my mom to take it. If you don't trust what people are saying, then try it for yourself.Customer Review: Works great for hair growth

I have very thin hair. The kind where I have to wash it everyday or it gets gross. I've been referred to Appearex by a friend who said that she tried other Biotin brands and nothing seemed to work as well. It was even recommended by her dermatologist, so I tried the 2.5mg 84 ct Appearex and saw that my hair seemed fuller, less stringy and I can even go one day without washing it...if I wanted to. I refered Appearex to a co-worker and she tried it as well. We both have been monitoring our hair and she and I both have new hair shoots sticking up. I've tried the Hentry's Market/ (Mother's Market)brand with 5 mg of Biotin after I ran out of the Appearex, but that didn't seem to work as well. My hair wasn't as full and thick, so I switched back to Appearex. My hair is back to feeling and looking full again.
