I used to have a plastic neti pot I got from CVS. It was generic and light-weight. But because it was plastic, it was difficult to clean. I wanted a ceramic neti pot because I wanted some weight to the pot and wanted something I could just stick in the dishwasher.
After reading many reviews, I settled on this neti-pot. What I like most about it is that it's very erganomic. The curved bowl makes it easy to cup with one hand. The thing I hate the most about it is the opening is too big. When filled, water spills from the top, making a bit of a mess. This is easily solved by putting less water into the pot. If it came with a cap, I would easily have given this five stars.
And yes, this neti pot is dishwasher safe. Although I wouldn't use it straight out of the dishwasher in case any soap was left over.

I guess my nasal system is not made for Neti Pots. First time worked well but second time filled my sinus with salt water and caused much distress. That was my last time.
However, the pot is well built, very cute, and should be useful for something. Tried to use it as a watering pot for houseplants but not good for that. Maybe I can plant something in it.
