I was diagnosed by a naturopath as having an iodine deficiency--fatigue, thinning hair, weight gain, depression---and given an iodine supplement. It was expensive, though it worked, so I decided to look for something else. I had been reading Mr. Cayce's biography so I thought that I'd try this form of iodine, since it's made according to Edgar Cayce's recipes.
It works. It's cheap. You need only take a drop. There are 960 doses per bottle, so it's really cost-effective.
Nobody ever said iodine is tasty, but, if you're really low in iodine and your body craves it, this will taste good. Sometimes it tastes sour, sometimes metallic and sometimes salty. I use mouthwash and then put the drop in the back of my jaw; Hulda Clark says that iodine sticks wherever it's put, and it's a disinfectant as well as a basic nutrient, so I figure it'll disinfect my mouth---and if you keep your mouth clean you lessen your chance of heart disease.
