Customer Review: Not bad, but a bit noisy

I bought this because I have neighbors in my condo complex who smoke and the smell drifts into my place and surrounds my 5-month old. It's a bit heavy, but easy to transport from one room to the other. Have I noticed a big difference in the smell? I suppose a mild yes, but I also closed off the vent in my kitchen from which the smoke came in, so that could have affected things, as well. Nonetheless, I keep this on because it does seem to take out something. I give it 3 stars and not 4 primarily because the motor has already started to sound funny - this after only a few months, and the fan can get loud and fluttery.
