Not really one to go out of my way to review a shower soap, mostly cause I'd rather be using it than writing about it. This is my new favorite body wash. It has a great smell to it and it has the exfoliation material in the gel. I use this everyday and have been using it on my face as well as my body. I have mildly sensitive skin and it doesn't punish my face like other shower gels. And yes I'm a sucker, I got the axe detailing tool but you don't need it. Any washcloth or loofah will do. It lathers nicely so you won't waste as much either.Customer Review: Make your skin smoooooth for the evening...

If you're not feeling grimy and greasy (then use Axe Snake Peel), this product will feel oh-so-smooth to your skin, gently scrubbing away the day's tensions for night fun. Pleasant light fragrance. Couple this with the Purifying Shower gel afterwards, and you will feel great dancing the night away, until the morning...and smell great too!Customer Review: This stuff is great

Axe Skin Contact Smoothing Shower Scrub is one of many different body wash products manufactured under the Axe label and while I have used a few different Axe products, Axe Skin Contact Smoothing Shower Scrub is the only one of the Axe scrub products I have tried. I have liked the other varieties of body wash made by Axe, so I felt good about giving this one a try.
This product is different from the regular varieties of Axe for a few notable reasons. The most obvious difference is the gritty feel to this body wash. These small specs aid in scrubbing the skin clean and they are most definitely noticeable, but not in a negative way. They gradually dissolve away as you scrub, leaving clean, smooth skin behind.
Other differences with Axe Skin Contact Smoothing Shower Scrub include its scent and lotion- like qualities. The smell isn't like the regular Axe products. It combines scents that are masculine and cologne- like, along with citrus and even a touch of coconut. I knew from reading the label that Axe Skin Contact Smoothing Shower Scrub contained unusual ingredients like cactus milk, but I still expected a strong, cologne- like scent. There is a masculine scent present, but it isn't as strong as I expected. The addition of other ingredients gives it a certain air freshener quality, although it is still masculine at its core.
Axe Skin Contact Smoothing Shower Scrub produces positive cleaning results. This body scrub generates only a small amount of lather and because of this, the body wash rinses away very quickly. Another nice quality is that the scent doesn't linger for very long. This is nice for those who want some scent with their body wash, but don't want to smell like they doused themselves with after shave.
Axe Skin Contact Smoothing Shower Scrub is a very good product and it certainly lives up to my expectations. It leaves your skin feeling smooth, clean, moisturized, and fresh smelling without taking the scent to an extreme level. It might cost a little more than the budget- priced body scrubs, but the quality is better than average and it ranks as one of the better body wash/scrub products available.

Not the greatest smelling Axe scrub. It's sort of a milky, lotion scented cream that I'm not really into. However it gets the job done. I'll be trying another scent next time.
