I had ordered these about a year ago and was very unhappy with the product because it did not do what promised. I got gobs and gobs of green gel (even after following instructions) and nothing more. But some of my friends kept raving about it so I figured I'd give it another try and finally, it works for me too! Very cooling and relaxing, seems to take the tightness out of my muscles after a long day and the nerve pain out of my arthritis for quite a few hours. Maybe I got a bad batch the first time around? Anyway, I would suggest this to anyone who needs a little help relieving every day pain from arthritis, sore muscles, etc. Also, the first batch I bought was over $30 plus s/h. Yet this one only came to about $17 with FREE s/h/. Big plus! Got to watch the different sellers on Amazon -most are very reasonable but others - beware! Always make sure you get it through Amazon directly, otherwise, you might lose some precious $$$$.Customer Review: Effective, easy to use

I'm very pleased with BioFreeze. It provides a long-lasting cooling sensation that helps take the edge off muscle pain. It's similar to other rub-on products, with the active ingredient being menthol. But, unlike others, the smell is not bad. No, you're not going to think it's a nice cologne, but it is not nearly as bad as any other product I've tried. The smell also dissipates pretty quickly so you're not smelling it all day long.
I've used the gel and the roll-on, and find the roll-on to be much easier to use (and, surprisingly, the roll-on was less expensive per ounce than the gel when I bought it). The gel works equally as well, but you have to wash your hands well after application. The roll-on applies the Biofreeze just where you want it, and no mess to clean up.
Highly recommend for muscle aches and pains. It also does a good job with mosquito bites - a dab of Biofreeze and no more itching!

I suffer from Fibromyalgia and my physical therapist introduced me to this product last year. Once leaving physical therapy, I didn't realize I could buy this for myself so I haven't used it in over a year. I was excited to come across it on Amazon and had to buy it. I use it on my knees, shoulders, back, wrists, and elbows. This product fills in the gaps when the pain comes back between medication doses. I don't know how I survived without it. My husband, who does not suffer from chronic pain, uses it for muscle strains and soreness and loves it too. The primary ingredient is Natural Menthol and while you can smell the menthol, it's not overpowering or offensive like many other OTC products. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone suffering from arthritis pain, fibromyalgia pain, and/or sore muscles. Between the price point at Amazon and the quality of the product, I will be purchasing several more bottles soon.Customer Review: The Best!

I have hip and knee pain at night....miserable....tried several smelly creams...stunk up my bedroom, yuk! I was a little nervous that in the winter I would be putting something on called "bioFREEZE" but it only feels cold at the initial application and then fades away as does the PAIN! I keep it next to my bed and when the pain calls I just roll it on and go right back to sleep....going to order several more now...never want to be out...my daughter says her chiropractor uses and sells it too but the price is triple!! I started using Biofreeze about 22 years ago when my Chiropractor applied it to my stiff neck. I have tried a number of topical analgesics and I found that Biofreeze penetrates better and last longer. I have used it on my neck, knee, and back for everything from muscle spasm to sore muscles. I like the roll on better only because you don't have to worry about it being on your hands and fingers. Biofreeze works fast to relieve the stiffness in my back and helps alleviate the pain caused by Degenerative Disk Disease. It also works on my joints affected by Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands and elbow.
