Soothing. Not in that Vicks vapo-rub dry ice burn way. I like this not so much when I am totally congested (can't really smell it then anyhow). It is great though when I come in from the biting dry cold of winter. Very relaxing.
On the other hand, my husband hates the smell and the greasy texture. So, might not be for everyone.
When I feel very sore or ill, I like the muscle therapy or stress relief bath salts from Abra ([...]) Don't see it available yet from Amazon, but hopefully they'll get round to it one of these days.
