Customer Review: The First Yogurt-Coating Style Bar That I Like!

We are an always busy famiily of four, with two of them teenagers, and we eat a LOT of bars. Our daughter has settled on the Glutino Gluten Free breakfast bars, but we other three try lots of bars.
A number of the bar brands out there have a yogurt-style coating as one of their offerings, and I have never liked them. Until now! Balance doesn't call it a yogurt coating, but refers to it as "lemon meringue" - and there-in lies all the difference to me. The coating on this bar has a lemon tang to it that I can only describe as "lightly bright"! Don't get me wrong, it's not sour, it won't pucker you up. But it has enough lovely zing to take this bar out of the bland and tasteless yogurt coatings we usually find.
Like all Balance brand bars, it is formulated to be a healthy balance of 30% protein, 30% fat and 40% carbohydrates. It has no trans-fat and several vitamins and minerals added. The Lemon Meringue Crunch will now be part of my regular grocery shopping!
