Most bars I've had to force myself to eat, even plugging my nose sometimes as I pound them down for their protein. This is a very good tasting bar, I just bought a couple boxes. No chalky taste. Before you order Balance Bars from Amazon, just be warned that you will get product that is past its "best by" date. I received a box last week that had expired in November. They replaced this with a box that had expired in....November. If you live near a Sam's Club or a Walmart get them there....they are just as cheap and much fresher.Customer Review: I ordered two boxes of these bars in January 2004.

I ordered two boxes of these bars in January 2004. They were not expired, the best by date was August 2004. I have tried dozens of different flavors and brands of protein bars and this is the best tasting by far. I agree that they taste a lot like Snickers except not as sweet. Also, the Amazon price (now $9.99) was the cheapest I've seen. Less than a dollar per bar. That's hard to beat.Customer Review: I wrote to Amazon and they took care of my refund immediately.

Be careful when u order these. I ordered these bars a couple of months ago and when I received them, I noticed that the Best By date was less then a month away. I've had "expired" bars before and trust me, they're quite nasty. I wrote to Amazon and they took care of my refund immediately. At the time, they didn't have any replacement boxes to send.
