I have a lot of shoes, and by a lot I mean I open my closet door and they are up to my knees, and hanging in shoe organizers, and on shelves. Sometimes the shoes fit perfectly, but I am wear different sizes sometimes im a 7, sometimes a 7 1/2 and sometimes an 8. I really try not to buy any shoe that hurts me , occasionally I cannot pass up a good bargain and get a shoe that rubs me a bit, not enough for a blister but enough to cause discomfort.
I wore band aids, put tape on, and everything fell off, and looked unseemly. Who wants to wear a pair of cute kitten heels and also a band aid? not I.
Friction block by Band Aid Brand is really three ingredients: Veg Oil, fragrance, alcohol. You take the mini deoderant like stick and rub it on your foot BEFORE you put your shoes on. If you get an Owee and then put it on? Still gonna have that Owee and pain. Its a preventative product. It smells really good, but not over powering.
Sometimes the simplest products bring you the hugest smiles and are gifts from the Comfy Gods, this is one of them!

Since the shoe manufacturers didn't design shoes to fit my feet exactly (how rude!) sometimes I experience some rubbing with my new shoes. Of course, that leads to blisters. The good thing about blisters - I get to wear sneakers to work even when it's not casual Friday. The bad - it hurts!
So I tried the Band Aid Friction Block. Super cool idea, but does it work? I'm happy to report that even though I wore a new pair of shoes that had started to rub some red spots on my tender tootsies, I am blister free! In fact, after smearing this on the places that had turned red in other shoe wearing attempts, there were no red spots at the end of the day.
Hmm - now what am I going to do with all the Band-Aid Brand Adhesive Bandages, Advanced Healing Blister Cushions, Multi-Day Protection, 6-Count Boxes (Pack of 6) that I have?

I thought this would be the same as putting chapstick on your heels (a trick I read about in a magazine years ago) but this is seriously a whole new ball game.
I wore it with a pair of shoes that are not totally broken in yet and had given me sores in the past - first time using this block stick, no issues AT ALL. Thought that maybe my shoes were broken in and wore them the next time without the block, and my blisters were back by the end of the day.
I let a friend use it after she had been wearing her new boots for a few hours. She asked me for a band-aid and I suggested she try this first and then put the band-aid on, she said she put the friction block on and after a while she couldn't find the spot where she had been rubbed raw before.
So in short, I'm totally converted.

I practice drill 3 plus hours a day and my feet taking a beating and used to wear spot Band-Aids on my toes and heels every single day just so I could wear 90% of the shoes in my closet. Now I apply Friction Block in the morning and never think about my feet again! I also am wearing shoes I had given up wearing because they gave me such bad blisters. Sure, I get the occasional blister when I am walking from dawn until dusk, but in a normal, busy day, my feet are blister and pain free! I keep a stick in my purse, in case I do a lot of walking that day and want to reapply, but I rarely need to. THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT and better than the others I tried when this product was hard to find a few months ago. It also smells great. I am giving it to my sister and girl friends for their birthdays!Customer Review: I can walk for miles now!

This stuff really works. The consistency of deodorant, this compact little friction block stick totally blocks blisters. I have a pair of flats that I love that used to give me blisters all the time, big ones if I even walked a block more than usual. This stuff prevents blisters on even on the longest walks on the back of my heel as well as my achilles tendon, depending on the shoe. I walk 20 minutes to work so this blister stick really helps give me my options back.
It won't help you if you already have a blister started, so remember to use it beforehand or carry it with you. The lid goes down over the whole thing, so no danger of it coming off. Seriously a good product. Smells good too.
