I really hate that rather than putting any R&D into a quality product, Band-Aid is basically shilling customers into paying big bucks for a tiny little container of congealed fast food grease--literally.
Read the ingredients: Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Cetyl Alcohol, Fragrance.
It's cheap, greasy oil with some fragrance mixed in, hardened up, and slapped into a deoderant container. I don't think that'd be good for my shoes, especially the sparkling new pair I just bought--do you?
What does this company take its customers for? I'm fuming at all the gold stars and high ratings and *thanks* to this company for a dirt-cheap product that you could get two gallons of for the same price at the local convenience store, in the next aisle over. This is probably almost a 100% profit for them at the expense of their counting on the ignorance of their consumer base. It's despicable.
A little advice: .99 lotion will do the job just as well, if not better than this garbage of a product. The key is to make sure your feet are smooth and moisturized to decrease any friction rubbing might cause.

I tried this some time ago for a pair of shoes that rubbed a little. After using it my foot was greasy so band aids didn't stick to the new blisters I had from wearing those shoes that day. It was pretty much useless.
