I've used flax oil for years now, but usually bought the cheapest or most well-known brand. They all tasted, as my friend described, "like death." We would always drink it like a shot and have to chase it down with something else to erase the after-taste. I finally decided to switch, so I bought this brand based on the highest quantity and quality of reviews, here on Amazon. I regret not making the switch to this product sooner. This flax oil does not taste bad at all, and I would gladly use this in food dishes now.
