First, I see Amazon has this listed at $29.99 which is crazy- shop around because I got it around $12 shipped. This BBT is beat by none!
Pros:
BACKLIGHT! From what I've read and researched this is the ONLY backlit BBT (which seems like such a 'duh' thing but it's not standard)
Only 10th of a degree to mess with- no worries to the 100th
Accurrate! I've tested it against 2 others and it is completely right on
Beeps to let you know it's working
Fairly quick
Cons:
Beep is rather loud- if you're a co-sleeper or not wanting to wake the hubby this make be a bothersome point... if you're temping half-asleep though it's a complete asset
All in all I'd recommend it over any other. I've tried 5 total and this one stands in a league of it's own.

Best basal digital thermometer I've purchased. After several thermometers from the drug store with short lifespans or not being accurate I read lots of reviews and settled on this thermometer. I would highly recommend. It has held up well and is very accurate.
Pros:

Contains memory of last temperature taken
Cons:
Beeps intermintently while taking temperature (if this will bother you or wake spouse this is not the thermometer for you)
Backlight feature only turns on briefly when you turn off thermometer (I typically turn on my nightstand light for additional light)
This being the third brand of basal digital thermometers I've tried, this is the best and I would highly recommend it.

I bought this thermometer and the Vicks basal thermometer and tested them both. I took 3 temperatures with the Vicks thermometer and 3 temperatures with the BD thermometer. The BD thermometer had all 97.5's and the Vicks thermometer fluctuated by .2 degrees on all three temps. I tested them again by taking 3 more temps with each thermometer and the BD was still consistent with two temps reading 97.5 and one reading 97.3 and the Vicks was still fluctuating by .2-.5 degrees on all readings. I didn't realize that this thermometer was also a 1/10th reading and the Vicks thermometer is a 1/100th reading. I read in one of the learning books for NFP that the 1/10th one is the best one to use since you should be recording your temps that way, and since the BD seems more consistant I will just use this one.Customer Review: Much better than my previous thermometer

I use Billings method NFP, but also temp to confirm ovulation as my signs can be confusing at times. I was using a store-brand digital thermometer when I first started charting, and kept wondering why my temps were always so low. THEN, I lost that piece of junk and bought the BD. It is way faster and more accurate - and I have no problems now. I like the bright backlight and the "beeps." Only thing is, the beeps may be loud enough to disturb a sleeping spouse. Just something to keep in mind if your husband is a light sleeper! I also wish the backlight would stay on while the thermometer is taking your temperature.Customer Review: Exactly what I needed

I love this thermometer. The back light and last temp recall have been a life saver for me. When I want to sleep in I can reach over shove it in my mouth for 1 minute drop it back on the night stand and go back to sleep. When I am ready to wake and write my temp down I can simply push the button and voila theres my temp. This is also the thermometer that is reccomended in the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I definatly reccomend that book as well. The only drawback is that beeps lightly every 3 seconds for 1 minute to let you know it is working which drives my husband nuts.
