I am constantly on the look-out for vintage watches. As one never knows when or where a worthy specimen will present itself, I always carry a pocket magnifier. I purchased this model for my pocket as well as a Donnegan double lens magnifier (also top quality) to carry in the Jeep.
The B & L 4X magnifier is perfect for what I need. It's light, plastic but nonetheless well-made, and the optics are clear and crisp - no distortion at all. My only complaint is that I wish B & L had put a ring on one end of the thing so that I could carry it on a lanyard and really look weird.
