This enzyme is the same as Beano. Although the inactive/other ingredient's are a bit different. (just thought you may wonder) I chew these as directed, with the first bite of gas causing food. It tastes fine.
Now...let me tell you the REAL test! I have NOT been able to eat peanut butter for years, any amount! Well I am SO IMPRESSED with this enzyme product because I can have a PB & JELLY samich with my kids now! WooHoo!! Also!! I have NO gas or bloating with any thing else when I use these little chewable tabs!
I will add that since I have IBS I do still need to be careful with what I eat. Therefore, I also use digesting enzyme as well, with all meals not just that ones that may cause gas.
