So far I have been using this product with great success since I started eating a lot more vegetables, whole grains, and nuts. I definitely recommend it though I was shocked to find the price on Amazon is more expensive that at Target!!!! I suffer from bloating and gas when I eat spicy foods or exotic hams. This happens especially when I visit Chinese Peng farmers. I take Beano to combat the effect, along with a few drinks of fiber and also fruit rum to relieve my cramps. It all seems to be working like an Enzyme factory.Customer Review: IT DOES WORK!

This stuff really works, however there is just one catch. You have to take with your food. You can't take it a significant amount of time before or after you eat, cause it won't work. Also, it seems EXPENSIVECustomer Review: Not so impressed!

I am not sure if it really works. All I know is that I get constipation problem when I use it. I think it breaks down ALL the fibers, so it somehow defeats its own purpose. So, I just take one pill instead of recommended two and take it when I consume a great deal of vegetables.Customer Review: Much too expensive and there's a better product

The problem with this product is that you have to take a lot of it and you have to take it right before eating a food that causes the flatulence problem. This ends of causing this product, or the similar Gas-X to be very epensive because you're supposed to take two or three pills each time.
I eat six small, primarily soy-based protein meals a day. A far superior product, which may seem more expensive is Align Align Digestive Care Probiotic Supplement, 28-Count. Furthermore, Align can be purchased with Amazon's subscribe and save program which ends up making the cost $0.73/day (they are currently $0.74 per pill at our local Costco Warehouse) because you only need to take one pill a day and it works! So, you can set yourself up with an automatic monthly delivery and you're good to go, except that 28 pills doesn't quite cover a month so buy one extra box your first month. This product is also packaged so that each pack has four strips of tablets in them. Each strip has seven tablets and is labeled "Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc"; very handy indeed.
I'd recommend avoiding Beano or Gas-X with Maalox Extra Strength Chewables Anti-Gas Plus Antacid, Wild Berry, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 3) or any other form of Gas-X. You'll save money, won't have to take a bunch of pills throughout the day, and most importantly, will get a good probiotic that will work.
