Having chronic allergies to toxic chemicals and household exposures, I have begun using natural ELF's Bed Bug, Dust Mite ERADICATOR after successfully using ELF for Bed Bugs a few years back during an alarming outbreak. I am still spraying non-toxic ERADICATOR as directed in every room that I had once detected and suspected Bed Bugs. Eradicator also passed a self-test of spraying the solution on my forearm without any reaction. It has no strong chemical smell to me and has not affected my allergies. There continues to be no new bites or blood spots on my sheets in the morning!
We have also covered all our guest bedding with ELF's Sleep-Safe RESORT waterproof, Bed Bug/Dust Mite/Allergen proof Sleep-Safe encasements. For ourselves, we prefer the luxury of the Sleep-Safe Evolution bedding protectors, and especially their top of the line ROYAL Pillow Encasements. The ROYAL material is so plush; it made my favorite old pillows absolutely awesome.
It has become a regular routine to treat the entire surfaces of our encased bedding, on every side...also spraying our bed frames, head boards, foot boards, carpeting, and the rest of the furniture. I also caulked several cracks near the wall outlets and corners which were possible nesting areas.
We continue to inspect all furniture, baseboards, curtains, pictures. At first it seemed like a nuisance, but it really is more enjoyable being clean, organized, and Bed Bug and Dust Mite Free!
Another great benefit I am still delighted about is that ERADICATOR safely kills fleas and mites without inflaming those nasty hot spots on one of our dogs.
