The commode is useful for those who have undergone hip surgery, as well as for general use at bedside or with a flush toilet. It is not as convenient as one nearly like it that folds for travel. But such a feature makes it more costly.Customer Review: Not what we expected

Too heavy. The toilet seat cover is flimsy, not big/ wide enough, and just plain uncomfortable to sit on. Feels as if you are sitting on the bar underneath. The image provided on Amazon is not what it looks when assembled. Additionally, the box was partially opened when delivered. Based on other reviews, I purchased this commode for my aging mom.
For someone with a relatively fragile hip, along with, a bad knee, this will be a big relief to her. It will also help cut back on the use of diapers.
She is yet to recieve, and try it (it was shipped to a distant land).
