Thelight on this clock worked just fine...good light, nice progression from dark to light. I was disappointed because the radio was entirely too quiet for me to hear and I don't trust waking to just the light....I returned it because of this, not because of the light portion of the item.Customer Review: Cheap Does not keep time

I have been an owner for two years, so this is a long term review. Now after changing the time if you do not notice the double dots blinking it is not keeping time. Why does it do this?? They will start after a while, but how long??? You could be sound a sleep then, wake up the next morning 47 minutes late, and not know it...The light works fine, but there are a lot better models out there which have nice mood sounds also. Stay clear away from this product, it is a cheaply made alarm clock, and when you look at it in detail, you can tell they put about 50 cents of material into this. Good luck finding you alarm clock just stay away here....Customer Review: Great service POOR PRODUCT

This light/alarm clock is way over priced for what it is and the bottom line on the one I received was - it did not work - when I got it the radio was so low at the highest setting that it was almost inaudiable - I did not return it because the radio was not my concern - but the first day that the light did not wake me, I never heard the backup alarm - so I tested it - I can only assume that alarm used the same speaker that the radio did and that it was also so low I could not hear it at ALL!! - I do not like loud alarm clocks but it has to make SOME kind of noice to wake me. We have been saving to buy this clock for somme time. Desperatly need it. I was so excited when it arrived. But unfortunatly when I pluged it in it turned on for a second then went blank. I can not reveiw the clock its self as i have not had ther oppertunity to use it. I have tried to make contact with shop waves but no one has got back to me. such a shame. a big waste of precious money for me. : -(
