I recently switched my anti-depressant medication and one of the lingering side-effects has been dry mouth. I never thought dry mouth was that big of a deal until I had it EVERY DAY. After thinking it would just go away, my mouth started to really bother me and I started reading up on remedies for dry mouth. At this point, switching medications isn't an option, so I had to find a solution to this annoying side effect. I read about Biotene on Amazon.com and saw that it got good reviews. I went to Target and purchased a pretty sizable $5 bottle.
The only mouthwash I'd ever used before was Listerene, so I prepared myself for the assault on my mouth. But, I was pleasantly surprised to find out Biotene isn't harsh at all! It's kind-of sweet and very gentle feeling. I swished it around in my mouth for 60 seconds and it was completely tolerable. After I spit it out, my mouth felt fresh and immediately, I could notice the dry mouth feeling going away.
I've been using this every day and my dry mouth is no more! At the cost of $5 per bottle, this is 100% worth it. I have no complaints whatsoever!
