Great item, I have 4 of these, so that when 1 pair is in the wash I can wear the others.
They do have quite a bit of give in them though, so if you are after something quite rigid these will not be the splints for you. They are also very hot and as I live in Australia find I need to change and wash them frequently as I sweat.
Great points - east to put on and off, comfortable to wear, malleable so that it is easy to twist them into a position which suits you individually, I find them fantastic for driving, great for support but not total support which I find useful in that I still have to use my hand muscles which minimises muscle deterioration.
Not so great points - a little too malleable, bends out of the shape you want very easily, very hot, they do stretch a little so I would not buy loose, not good for carpal tunnel as it does not immobilise the joint, it merely supports it.
All round, 4 out of 5 stars, I have tried a variety of splints and these are my everyday ones.
For carpal tunnel I would suggest something more rigid that completely immobilises the joint in a neutral position for night time use. I use molded plastic custom made splints for night time wrist rest.
