As someone with chronic back and neck issues I got this thinking it would be an acupressure like effect, as described. I used it as directed but just felt it did nothing. Not enough pressure as the material is too soft, and the projections don't extend far enough to go deep if you lie back on them. Might work for someone with extreme sensitivity or bad fibromyalgia though.
