I bought this item for my mother and it did not work! It was also very expensive, but we were interested because she has pretty significant back pain and there does not seem to be a similar product on the market right now. Be warned! it is not worth the money that they charge. Use a corded heating pad--much cheaper and actually provides heat (what a concept).
