I'm 61 years old, a health nut and eat very well. I was intrigued by all the ads regarding detox pads. I bought these pads over others because of the good reviews on Amazon and other sites. I ordered a months worth and followed the directions to a tee. I kept waiting to feel some change, i.e. more energy, etc. but after one month there was absolutely no change in my body at all. They were very easy to put on but in the morning it was a different story. It took a lot of scrubbing to get the smell and the adhesive off. (I would stick to the floor if I didn't remove the adhesive!) The smell was like an old musty barbecue pit. Even my sheets smelled. Actually it's the smell of wet tree bark. The pads did get wet and dark, but obviously when a part of the body is cut off from air, it will sweat in tha spot, therefore, the wet dark substance. I kept hoping through the process that I would feel something and kept a positive attitude, but, alas, the month finished with me feeling the same as in the beginning. These pads might work, but I wasn't able to use them more than one night. The pads smell terribly, but I tried putting them on my feet overnight anyway. By morning the smell was even worse, and I didn't feel any better. I scrubbed my feet for half an hour, but the smell wouldn't go away. It had just soaked into the soles of my feet like nothing I have ever known before. It was a week before it went away, even with repeated twice daily scrubbing, as well as soaking my feet every day for half an hour. I am extra sensitive to scents though. I can't really review how they work though, since I couldn't use them more than once.Customer Review: no difference for me

This didn't do anything for me either. I even seemed to wake up feeling more tired than usual, and the tape wouldn't stick to my feet.
I would say drinking herbal tea, eating lighter, and getting more exercise should work better than foot pads. Everyone is different though, so it might work for you.

Product took a little longer than most to arrive. The adhesive and detox pouch are seperate and you must attach detox pad to adhesive and then attach to foot. The adhesive immediately falls right off. I have had to tape it on to use pads...very very poor...and I feel ripped off. DO NOT BUY
