This is the OEM replacement foil and cutter for Braun 8985 electric shaver (and others). It makes your shaver feel brand new again. It's as simple as removing your old foil/cutter and popping in the new one. The replacement works just as good as new; very close and comfortable. BTW, this shaver is rated tops in Consumer's Report; while not cheapest it works great!
This price for this product from this seller was a good deal plus it's difficult to find this item at retail stores.

The foil and cutter block were exactly as described, however Amazon shipped me an empty box with another customer's packing slip inside. Customer service had trouble expalining this occurrence and the situation had to be escalated to a customer service supervisor who finally sent me the item I ordered. Amazon was unable to explain how I received a strangers packing slip for a "hydraulic pump" sent to me in an empy box. The replacement parts did make the shaver work like new again and were very easy to install. I avoid the cleaner solution replacement packs as they are a waste of money when you can just get isopropyl alcohol and clean the parts manually. The shaver works fine without incessant cleaning. Just remember, the foil and cutter are not really an option with this shaver; my foil tore apart and rendered the shaver useless (dangerous) until I got the new parts. Have used this razor for two years and now have had to replace the foil and blades, which is routine for this time of razor. I find this razor works very well, better than any other model I have used in the past. People seem to be either a rotary or foil user, and I believe this model is worth the price. No electric razor shaves as close as a blade, but this one does a great job. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased the complete foil & cutter block for my braun 8995 razor. Braun 8000 360 Complete Foil and Cutter Block for Models 8995, 8985 and 8975 I must say it performs as advertised. It's as though I were shaving with a new razor again. I believe it is money well spent.
