I was lucky enough to get a couple of these Braun P-70s at a ridiculously low single-digit price through Amazon a few months ago, and the quality and reliability is so good that it's become my everyday go-to shaver. I use a Gillette blade razor for most shaving, but like a power shaver for touch-up and trimming, etc. Anyway, I had intended to give one of these away as a gift, but when my older, high-end Braun conked out shortly after I received the P-70s, I decided to keep both, to have one as a backup. The blade is super sharp and the motor is strong. After several months, the battery power does not seem to have diminished at all. I love how this product is small, lightweight and compact...the design is truly remarkable. It's especially ideal for travel, although I'm using mine for everyday home use and it's more than adequate for that too. It's also easy to clean under running water, or you can just pop off the foil and shake it out for a "dry" cleaning. All in all, for what I paid for this, or even at 2 or 3 times what I paid, this is one of the best little shavers I've ever used and owned.Customer Review: Must Have Portable Shaver!!

This shaver is excellent as a foil shaver! If you had electric shavers before, a lot of people will agree that there is little difference (at least that's what I've experienced) between an electric foil shaver worth $100 and this portable one which is worth less than $20.
The movable cap makes the shaver into a case itself and the functionality is excellent which also includes the feature that allows it to be washed under the faucet. The brush is conveniently placed on the bottom of the shaver which snaps into place. The only negative comment about it is the precision trimmer as it is placed at a different angle then the foil shaver itself at a 90 degree angle facing horizontally. I'm pretty scared that if you don't push it correctly, it might be easy to break and it is kind of hard to use, especially if you have really thick sideburns.
Battery life is excellent. I've used the same double A batteries for a month using it about a minute every time I use it and it's still going! Highly recommended for every type of guys, especially if you're always on the go!

I bought a Pulsonic and returned it a month later because it shaves as close as my old Norelco Spectra 8891xl, which I rate a 7/10.
I needed a closer shave so I bought a Braun 190 aka free control 1775 for $40; great shave but the foil is flimsy and feels like it will tear soon. The PocketGo has a sturdy foil. I'm going to return my Braun 190 and buy 2 more PocketGos.
I decided to try the PocketGo because of the glowing reviews I read here and because it has similar specs as the the Braun 190 for 25 dollars less. It ROCKS! Unlike the previous shavers mentioned, you can even use it in the SHOWER!
I got one for me, one for my brother, and I'm going to get one for some more family members.

For an extra close shave look for William's Lectric Shave Ultra. I found a bottle at my local pharmacy for $2.49.
I'm amazed.
I just rubbed my chin to feel how smooth this shaver left it.

I've been shaving with electric razors for about 15 years now and I have NEVER had a shaver work as well as this one. I purchased it a few months ago for a trip overseas and was absolutely blown away by its performance, so much so that it is now my primary razor. Even though I just changed the blades/foil on my previous razor (Braun Series 5 (8995) Men's Shaver), the PocketGo P-70 gives a 10x better shave in half the time. I have never had a closer shave in my life. If you typically wait 3+ days between shaves, you may want to look elsewhere because the single foil doesn't catch longer hairs exceptionally well ... but if you have average beard growth and you shave every 1-2 days, there is absolutely *nothing* better than this. For around $15, you owe it to yourself to give this a try before spending a LOT more on a Braun Series 7. Pick up some electric razor pre-shave gel (my personal favorite is Lectric Shave Ultra) and be ready to be wowed!Customer Review: Great little razor

I got this razor today and tried it briefly but long enough to know that this well built razor is a winner. So much so, that I'm going to buy two more today. I'll use them for spare parts,
since they only cost $12.00 each. Replacing the cutter and foil would cost more than that. I won't know how long the batteries will last but even if I only get a few shaves, it's worth it.
Anyway, a charger and four rechargeable batteries for under $10.00 will do away with having to replace the AA batteries.
This little razor cuts closer than a Panasonic portable wet/dry razor that I recently bought on Amazon, (see my review). And the Braun 370 cuts closer dry than the Panasonic cuts wet. This morning I shaved with the Panasonic and got only a marginal shave. This afternoon, I shaved over the stubble and got down to smooth skin....WOW, is all I can say about this little Braun gem. It removed the stubble that the Panasonic left.
Well, gotta go and order two more of these before the price goes up. :-)
