Braun SE7281WD Xpressive Body System Rechargeable Wet & Dry EpilatorThis is the best epilator that I have ever used. I used the old fashioned one with the rotating plastic bar and found it excrutiating. Shaving gives me terrible itchy rashes on my legs so I began getting my legs waxed. Unfortunately, I would have to get waxed very frequently so I bought the Braun epilator to extend the time I could go between waxings but I have not had to get waxed since I bought the epilator. I would recommend starting with a professional leg wax so that the first time you use the Braun you won't have thick growth to deal with the first time. I have to use the Braun about every two weeks and I use it on my legs and forearms. I use the shaver head for my underarms and bikini area and that works very well, especially in the shower. Exfoliation 48 hours after exfoliation and twice weekly thereafter are necessary to prevent ingrown hairs. This is a great product and works extremely well, with continued use it becomes less and less uncomfortable. The only drawback is that it does not come with the facial attachment, which many people would like to have.Customer Review: ok for my first epilator

This is my first purchase of an epilator. I like the fact that I have the option of using this while in or out of the shower unlike other epilators. The pain is tolerable. I have not used the wipes provided to help with the pain. But it took me some time to have the courage to do the first swipe. Maybe it's because of the sound, which was louder than I expected it to produce.
At first, I used it with the massager head since the manual said that that stimulates the skin before and soothes the skin after hair removal. But I had difficulty getting all the hair out in some areas (knee, bony part of the leg, armpit - I get cuts). The massager head had a prickling effect that made it uncomfortable to epilate in those bony parts. So I tried using the efficieny cap, which I found out was much better in doing the job especially in those problem areas.
The process of epilating takes some time so I usually don't do everything in one session. But it does get the hair out so I'm still satisfied.

This is a fantastic epilator. I am hooked ever since buying it. It is painless, fast and best part is that you can use it anywhere, in the shower for bikini waxing, anywhere else in your privacy it does not require you to be near an outlet. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that when it is plugged in and charging you need to wait until it finishes before continuing use. So anywhere over 1.5 hours of operation it has to be recharged and if you haven't finished your job, you just have to wait until it recharges to continue. But outside of this little detail, everything about this product is excellent. I tried other epilators with 70 tweezers that did not do as good of a job as this one with about 40 tweezers. I was using Braun Silk-epil before I purchased the xpressive. Its really good and seems like an improvement on earlier versions of Braun epilators. I feel there is a slight tingling still.
The battery life is far longer in this epilator than the older models so I can use it longer and need not re-charge it. The charging light indicator is a good addition since I always used to forget when I kept it for charging and I wasn't sure how long to charge it, now the light becomes steady and I take it off.
One thing I didn't like about it is the on-off button, its a little difficult to handle and manueuver. The wipes looked good but are mostly un-necessary.
Overall its good and does its job very well.

Product is reliable, wet or dry, although if using wet you might have to go over the same area more than once. My daughter used it for her first leg shaving/epilation and it worked very well.
